sixwheeledbeast^Looking into encrypted backup solutions nothing massive. Thinking hardware encryption USB stick is easiest and platform agnostic. Any opinions or ideas?13:52
KotCzarnyyup, luks is nice and easy to setup14:11
sixwheeledbeast^only linux tho?14:46
sixwheeledbeast^From the quick look into it.14:46
KotCzarnyyou can mount truecrypt container with luks too14:46
KotCzarnyso if you use vfat or ntfs for windoze, you can make multios backup drive14:49
sixwheeledbeast^is truecrypt not depreciated?15:16
KotCzarnydont know, just saying you can mount it easily without the binary15:32
KotCzarnyalso, i would suspect some FUD around it15:32
sixwheeledbeast^Hmm I will look into LUKS a bit more. I was thinking of the drives with a push PIN on them initially therefore easy for people to use and setup. Although concerns with them are the autowipe, battery life and price. Latter maybe offset by better security, convenience and being system agnostic.15:56
sixwheeledbeast^gnome-disks does LUKS OOTB. Could be viable to show people if readable on PC/Mac.16:10
