sixwheeledbeast | Off topic but I consider it a good place to ask. Any tips on removing and resoldering a SMD LED? I have a SMD LED that is the wrong way around on a PCB. I am hopeful it hasn't been blown by reverse voltage and flipping it around will fix it. | 21:36 |

Joerg-Neo900 | preheat in oven or on hotplate if possible, then hot air soldering tool. Or solder tweezers | 22:07 |
sicelo | hotplate, stove? | 22:33 |
sixwheeledbeast | Not something I have. I can see solder tweezers being useful in other repairs. Was hoping I could warm PCB up with a hot air gun then, solder pump and wick most of the solder away. | 23:11 |
sixwheeledbeast | That would be how I normally do through hole. | 23:12 |
