buZzisnt it bookworm?01:39
buZzah, nope01:39
buZzthats current-ish debian though01:39
Wizzupyup01:44
Wizzupready for another multi man month project? :D01:44
WizzupI'm not ... yet :D01:44
WunderWungielNew images of the latest update will come up soon?09:00
Wizzupyes, looking into why the images failed now.12:10
Wizzupok, fixed the problem12:19
Wizzup(disk full)12:19
Wizzupand the next problem12:37
Wizzupuvos: I am going to look at my tp module for sphone again18:00
Wizzupiirc the main bugs were anonymous caller id for outgoing calls and no audio in sip/xmpp calls, but that could be some other bug ofc18:00
WizzupI'll look at the other feedback you had too18:00
Wizzupfreemangordon: I could maybe use your help for the sip/xmpp part18:01
Wizzupuvos: there will be some general sphone ui stuff, but still, it'll be good to have I think18:01
Wizzuphm, before that I will try arno's sip setup18:23
Wizzupsee if I get audio there18:23
l_bratchit was very exciting to read the latest news update, as always :)18:24
Wizzup:)18:24
l_bratchP.S. there is a broken hyperlink on the line about DSME changes, I think it should point to https://github.com/maemo-leste/dsme/commit/929cde639a74cecde58d1fdf86316daa51ea1e2718:24
Wizzupok, ty, will fix in a bit18:31
aczidhey congrats on the 5y aniversary! o/18:54
aczidwas just reading the update blog18:54
arno11Wizzup: if you need help to get audio working with SIP, i'm available for the next 2 hours19:00
tmlind_nice update on the blog :)19:04
tmlind_so my d4 ran out of battery on day 42 last time, now on day 16. modem started behaving weird today where it would produce alarms, maybe five total with no messages or calls coming in, ping over wwan1 still worked to the net19:05
tmlind_i reloaded all the modem related modules and it seems to be just fine again19:05
tmlind_unloaded all the way including phy-mapphone-mdm6600 so modem got shut off19:06
tmlind_no idea if just offlining would have helped, will try that the next time19:06
Wizzupaczid: ty!19:09
Wizzuparno11: actually, ok, let me do that19:09
Wizzuptmlind_: hmm, so the alarm was for what exactly?19:10
dsc_when my droid4 is on a (wall) charger, and at 100% battery capacity it makes a sound periodically (5min?) "woosh"19:12
bencohprobably because then the usb (and/or charger) is reset periodically19:12
bencoh(reset, or turned off, iirc it is/was a known issue)19:13
Wizzupdsc_: yeah, that's a known issue but there are some pending fixes19:13
dsc_ah I see19:13
Wizzupimo we should probably just apply pavels fix for now19:13
Wizzupsince it also keeps usbnet stable19:13
Wizzup(it's really annoying when doing development)19:13
bencohoh, we do have a pending fix for that? neat19:13
bencoh(indeed)19:13
Wizzuppavel has a fix on the ml but I think there was no unity on it :P19:14
Wizzuparno11: ok so I'll go throug the logs where you posted the steps and try again19:14
Wizzuparno11: any PA changes since then, or?19:14
bencohWizzup: hmm, fmg had a point there, disconnecting the battery after charging sounds like an issue in case of a current peak19:18
arno11Wizzup: you can use PA config from the logs19:18
arno11(otherwise you can use with better results in term of cpu usage: resample-method = speex-fixed-2, default-sample-rate = 48000, alternate-sample-rate = 44100 and all other stuff as default)19:23
arno11but just for testing, config from the logs is enough ;)19:24
Wizzupok19:25
Wizzuparno11: something came up, I will have to do it a bit later today19:43
arno11ok19:44
sicelo arno11: tried the IR TX? :-)19:50
arno11sicelo: yes seems to work :) no more kernel crash20:00
siceloawesome20:04
arno11now we need pierogi asap :)20:07
siceloyeah20:07
sicelowant to give it a go?20:08
arno11sicelo: not sure i have the skills with qt stuff but i can try20:22
siceloi don't too, but will see at some point if i can do it20:23
arno11:)20:33
arno11brb20:33
tmlind_Wizzup: the modem produced a bunch of WAKEUP messages with nothing else, sending sms to self did not arrive back until i reloaded the modem modules20:42
Wizzupah... hm20:42
tmlind_network access worked though as tested with ping20:43
Wizzupyou saw this from the dmesg debug?20:43
tmlind_yeah20:43
Wizzupok20:43
sicelotmlind_: d937678ab625b0f6 in kernel (and daebabd57864744)20:51
sicelowhat suggestions would you be able to give regarding fixing that properly?20:52
siceloWizzup: these commits are closely related to fb2c599f056640d289b2147, which we reverted in leste (enable off mode automatically)20:56
Wizzupsicelo: sorry, what is the context?20:58
siceloah, sorry21:02
sicelothis, https://github.com/maemo-leste/droid4-linux/commit/7f08e7fca0934f0bf6f5312800f8088c14db5e9321:02
Wizzupok21:02
siceloseems the correct fix is related to those two commits in kernel21:02
Wizzupso we have this because enabling it by default (off mode) causes -all kinds- of problems, the most severe a random but frequently occuring panic in the sd/mmc layer when booting21:02
WizzupI saw that you were changing the l3 error reporting code21:02
Wizzupso that might allow us to dive in further, or is that what you're doing now?21:03
sicelonot right now :-)21:03
sicelobut yes i want to21:03
Wizzupok21:03
sicelothe commit we're reverting in that patch uses ti,twl4030-idle* to automatically enable idle. so a slightly better fix/workaround is to remove ti,twl4030-idle-osc-off from N900 dts, instead of reverting the commit :-)21:05
siceloso while looking at that, i came across the two commits above that i mentioned to tmlind. seems there's some vaux work that needs to be done ... and who knows, it might turn out to not be that difficult, and we could get one step closer to off mode21:06
Wizzupagreed21:09
WizzupI also think that using serial and your patch to report errors better will help too21:09
Wizzupsicelo: can I use maeotp for github 2fa? seems like it should work, right?22:41
siceloi use it for that ;-)22:47
sicelobut ... you need some manual work initially22:47
siceloyou need to base32 convert the key22:47
sicelosome day i hope to add the missing code for it to use regular key22:49
sicelofor now, you need to do https://github.com/jwhitbeck/otpn900/issues/1#issuecomment-40862541422:49
Wizzuphm, it can't be hard to add this, right22:52
Wizzupand thanks for the info!22:52
Wizzupsicelo: is it time based or event based?23:24
Wizzupgithub seems to offer a 'setup key' that is just hex23:27
sicelotime based23:29
siceloi forgot the settings off hand now (no maemo device close by) ... but if it has somewhere to change number of digits, choose 623:29
Wizzupok23:31
